Gracie Barra Corona

Gracie Barra America would like to invite women from all GB Schools to get together Saturday,  May 2nd at 10am for the always fun “Class e Breakfast”. At this time the event will be very special as one of the girls will be promoted to the Black Belt. You will not want to miss that!

We will have an outstanding 1 hour class and the belt promotion. After that there will be a breakfast where students from different GB Schools will have the chance to meet, know each other better and have fun.

We are very excited to announce the beginning of our exclusive women’s class. We will be meeting every Friday evening from 6-7 to work out and learn fundamental Brazilian jiu jitsu technique. The class will be taught by Holly Reusing. Please join us and bring your friends. We are going to have a great time working out and learning together.

Master Carlos Gracie Jr.
We will have Master Carlos with us until May 7 when he flies back to Brazil. Master Carlos is teaching and training most on the night classes from 6-8pm.

Competition Training
Inspired by the Pan Ams some of our competitors are already training hard to the Worlds 2009.  The training sessions are happening on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-10am, for Blue Belts and up. Needless to say our competition training is open to non competitors and also to students from other GB Schools.

GB wins the Pan American Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Team Champions for 2009

Congratulations Gracie Barra Team Members!  We are again the Pan American Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Team Champions for 2009; Gracie Humaita took 2nd and Alliance 3rd.  From White to Black Belt Gracie Barra represented itself with professionalism and skill and not only secured the 1st place team award but displayed the character and team unity we bring to the world through Jiu-Jitsu.
